I am a data scientist at one of the world's leading manufacturers of machine tools, where I develop pipelines, models, and dashboards that transform vast amounts of industrial data into actionable insights. My work involves software development, applied machine learning, containerized infrastructure, and extensive data preparation. I love developing tools that make engineers' lives easier.

Previously, I worked as an applications engineer and doctoral candidate in the field of autonomous driving, developing objective evaluation methods for ADAS/AD functions, centimeter-accurate “ground truth” mapping systems, and integrated measurement setups for LiDAR and cameras. Computer vision was a common thread that ran through my work from my bachelor’s degree through my doctoral dissertation. I have published in IEEE, VDI, and MDPI and have given lectures on image processing, sensor fusion, software development, data science/AI, and programming.

Outside engineering, I administer various web projects, pursue analogue photography and triathlon.
